WOW what a fantastic show ! It is like my 28th time seeing these guys and I was in absolute bliss It is nothing less then a dream come true that these guys are playing live again . The new songs they introduced were really interesting and I am so longing to here the new CD when they finish it.
They played two on cores and finally Anissa had to end the show to feed the baby,
I f you have not gotten the new Live Cd GET IT! the version of Flying on the CD is way better then the original . (Maby I am a bit biased on this one as I was at the show where they recorded this song and was having a really powerful personal moment wile they were playing it...)
Ya they are my all time favorite band.... and being a person who pretty much lives to dance to this sort of music (I am really into expressive free form ecstatic dance as a practice) it is just amazing to experience it live . It is really nice to have found a small tribe of folks who agree. were any of you at the show.?
I am really looking forward to the new studio recordings coming out... They played a few new songs at the show and I was very impressed.
Blessings!

Fri, November 11, 2005 - 12:14 PMGrrr... I have always been jealous of you Seattle folk, having them so close. I've seen them about 5 times and Would love to make at least another 5. I'm putting out the prayers that a big wave of juicy enthusiastic momentum lifts them up an back out on tour. Glad to hear the show rocked! -

Sat, November 12, 2005 - 12:05 PMI hope they tour and come to NYC so I can see them live for the very first time!!! They are one of my all time favorite bands... and the only reason I don't have their new live cd is that I'm cash poor and trying to become penny wiser... -

Mon, November 14, 2005 - 12:36 PMThat's great you caught that show. I wish I could have. If only I weren't over 2000 miles away and short on cash....
I *love* dancing to their music too. It puts me into a state of ecstatic trance. -

Re: SCM latest show in seattle... WOW ... BLISS!!
Sun, March 12, 2006 - 9:06 AMand then there was the portland show last nite...way better venue and more dancing folk! :)
if only my foot hadnt been bothering me...i was getting as lost as i could in the music while maintaining my awareness of my foot.
fun to speak briefly with Rodderick. he's very human. (unlike some ppl who's egos get inflamed from "stardom.")
now i must incrementally borrow all your SCM cd's...questions brewing in my mind about certain songs and wanting to hear some again and again!!
*waits longingly for the next show*
